Your child’s school sets up Bizi

Every school customizes Bizi to fit their culture and goals. Before going live, your school's leadership team configures the earning structure, sets up bonuses and flags, and builds the school store.

Bonuses and flags keep it personal

Teachers and staff can also send bonuses, providing instant recognition for leadership, effort, growth, kindness, or moments that data alone cannot capture. If a lower-level behavior concern happens, a staff member can send a flag.

Your child earns automatically

Bizi connects directly to your school’s attendance and grade systems. When your child shows up on time, stays on track behaviorally, or reaches academic goals, digital school dollars are automatically deposited into their Bizi account.

Your child manages their own account

Every student can log into their personal Bizi account to:
• Check their balance
• Track progress
• See what they earned and why
• Set goals and make choices

WHY IT WORKS

The research

Your child's school uses a framework called Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, PBIS for short. You may not know the name, but you know the idea: when students are consistently recognized for doing the right thing, they do it more. It builds culture, strengthens relationships, and creates schools where kids actually want to be.

Fewer discipline issues

Schools implementing PBIS with fidelity have been shown to significantly reduce suspensions, disciplinary referrals, and exclusionary practices — including for students who are most vulnerable.

Stronger school culture

Staff in PBIS schools report improved student-teacher relationships, more positive schoolenvironments, and greater focus on academics — creating classrooms where learning canactually happen.

Better academic outcomes

Students in PBIS schools report improved academic self-concept, better completion of schoolwork, and fewer grade retentions compared to peers in non-PBIS schools. Higher PBIS implementation is also associated with higher math and reading achievement. (Center on PBIS, 2023)

Financial literacy that lasts

Only 17 states earn an A or B grade for providing personal finance education to high school students. Financial illiteracy disproportionately impacts students from low-income communities. Bizi builds financial decision-making into the school day students are already living — no separate course required. (Champlain College Center for Financial Literacy, 2023)

But doesn't rewarding kids undermine their natural motivation?

It's a fair question, and one researchers have studied carefully. The evidence is clear: when recognition is tied to specific, meaningful behaviors and delivered consistently, it does not undermine intrinsic motivation. In fact, it builds it. Research shows that positive reinforcement helps students develop early competence, build confidence, and internalize the habits that eventually become self-sustaining.

Bizi gives you two easy ways to stay connected to your child's progress.

Access your child's dashboard

Families can log into Bizi using the same school sign-on system their child already uses through Clever or ClassLink. No separate account to create and no extra password to remember.

You’ll see the same information your child sees, creating more meaningful conversations at home.

Sign up for pay period statements

Every two weeks, Bizi can send a simple student progress summary directly to your inbox. These pay period statements highlight attendance, behavior, academic progress, earnings, and school activity in a quick, easy-to-understand format.
